July 4th Weekend

We had a fun weekend at the cabin visiting Grandma Pat and Grandpa Tom with Uncle Rick, Aunt Laura, and Cousin Gavin!  This is a story that is best told in pictures...

We brought up Nolan's pool and the boys had a lot of fun playing in the pool!

Fully protected - SPF hat, SPF shoes, SPF shirt, SPF shade for the pool (not currently in use),  SPF sunscreen, and a pool located in the shade...I think he's safe!

BUBBLES!  Bubbles are a lot of fun for an almost 1 year old and an almost 2 year old.

Uncle Rick is really good at making bubbles!

Bath!  Nolan had his first bath in the big tub with his big cousin.  He loved the big tub but kept trying to stand up in it which resulted in a lot of slipping and sliding.

Boat!  Nolan took his first boat ride.  He did great on the boat even with the really bulky life jacket.  The boat seemed to make  him fall asleep so we got lots of snuggle naps.

Lake Swimming!  Nolan swam in the lake for the first time.  He had his life jacket and was in his floaty.  He really enjoyed it.  Unfortunately, we forgot to change him into his swim diaper so he was wearing a balloon by the time he came out (-:

Playing with my cousin!  The boys had SO MUCH FUN playing.  Nolan really looks up to his big cousin.
