Mommy hadn't been away from Nolan for longer than a work day since he was born. This weekend was the traditional "Amish Fest" with her girlfriends. Its a time for women to get away to enjoy each other's company, eat good food, and work on crafts. Mommy wasn't sure she wanted to go this year as she knew should would miss Nolan something terrible. On the other hand, she knew that time with friends is important for mommies. So...she ventured out. Despite the crazy drive there (45 minute drive that took 2 hours due to the snow), it was a great weekend. Aunt Laura even got to join her this year. While Mommy was gone, daddy was under strict orders to take lots of pictures. Mommy didn't want to miss out on anything. Daddy and Nolan had some fun of their own. Nolan got to hang out with Grandma Kothe while Daddy and Grandpa Kothe went to the Wild game (check out Nolan's adorable outfit). Daddy also went up in a small plane. He hadn't done that in awhile, and he really enjoyed it! Daddy and Nolan also cheered on the Packers (yes, we're a Packer household).
