One of my college roommates recently moved back to the Twin Cities. She invited all of us Purple House Girls to her house for a mommy and kids get-together. It was rather last minute, but somehow everyone was able to make it. It was meant to be! There 10 kids under the age of 8. In fact, every age was represented 0 (Nolan) to 7 which a couple of "extra" 4 year olds! There was plenty of chaos (one near ER visit, a fire alarm, and many "clean up zones" by the end of the day) but the kids all played really well together, the moms really enjoyed their time together, and Nolan LOVED watching all of the "big" kids. We will definitely have to do it again soon!

Note Tyler and Will at the top (troublesome duo), Jack holding Nolan (the responsible oldest with the curious baby), Kallen with the sword (smiling and doing what he is supposed to), Charlie with the gun (trying to shoot the mommy papparazzi), Mira and Keith the little kids (want out of the photo and back to their moms), and Kenna and Katelyn (being girls, worried about what is happening with the unhappy children).
