We have really been making the most out of this summer. We figure this will be the last time that all 3 off us have such flexible schedules. Mommy has the summers off, Nolan schedule hasn't been filled with practices and camps, and daddy has been working a flexible schedule while job searching (new job starts soon!). It has been so much fun getting out and doing stuff together in the middle of the week when everybody else is at work (-: Wednesday Nolan, mommy, and daddy took a fun day trip to Duluth. We had a lot of fun. However, we may not be able to go to restaurants as a family for awhile. Nolan is a bit loud (as well as really messy!). Thursday we took Nolan on his first trip to the state fair! He loved it! He really enjoyed looking around. He and daddy went on the carousel. He didn't eat any fair food. Maybe next year. Friday mommy and daddy took a day to themselves. We went tubing down the Cannon River and then headed to Minneapolis to catch a Twins' game.
